Nizar Ladak is a seasoned health care executive with 25 years of experience in Federal and Provincial Government agencies and hospitals. His passion is finding innovative solutions to operational problems, mentoring teams and volunteering his time in non-profit, social service organizations
Mr. Ladak is the President and CEO Compute Ontario. Compute Ontario is a focal point for centralizing strategy and planning functions for advanced computing assets and investments in Ontario, including hardware, software, the personnel who provide support, data management, storage and security, and connectivity.
Prior to this role, Mr. Ladak was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Health Quality Ontario, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at North York General Hospital and Senior Director at the Central East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and Director of the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).
Mr. Ladak has a Master of Education degree and has completed Executive Leadership Programs at the Rotman Graduate School of Business and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Nizar has delivered over 700 presentations, including reports and publications.
